Silvia Grossmann has been telling stories all her life, in illustration, photography and now film. She likes to chronicle the absurdity of life and aspires to create films that live up to Oscar Wilde’s maxim–
“If you must tell the truth, do it with humor, otherwise people will kill you”.
A native of Brazil, prior to filmmaking Silvia had a career as an Art Director
and fine artist. She’s been featured in photography galleries and museums
around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art, and her latest film
premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.
