About to turn 40 with no partners or children, three friends who met met studying abroad 20 years before, in Paris – return to the city of lights to celebrate their friendship, retrace their old lovers and… catch the sperm that got away.
§
When three young women met, studying abroad in Paris 20 years ago, all they wanted was to party as much as possible – and not get pregnant.
But as they get together to celebrate the first among them to turn 40, they contemplate where they thought they would be by 40: with partners, kids, or at least ONE of the two – they realize no one is even remotely close to what they imagined. So they hatch a plan: to go back to Paris, retrace their old lovers, party as much as possible and catch the sperm that got away.
When their fantasy meets reality, they are challenged to let go of their plans and imagine new ways to experience love, family and motherhood.
