Remember that first lie you ever told? The one you thought you got away with… and launched a lifetime of lying?
After Robbie’s dead mother appears to him in a dream – demanding to be rescued from a really boring time in Heaven – Robbie is forced to confront the lie that started a lifetime of deception.

LieLand has premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, and ran in the festival circuit in the US and Europe. It is currently being broadcast by PBS and is in contention for its short Festival competition, among others.

Etgar Keret is the author of several bestselling story collections, graphic novels, children’s books and screenplays, which have been translated into twenty languages. He lives and teaches in Tel Aviv.
